Althisory mig
Yes, Cafe, it is so. I liked to play Lego when I was a child, and now I like to read sci-fi and althistory books. Maybe I'll continue my work and publish here some E-8 derivatives. And special thanks to Matis for Su-15!

I've got a little question concerning the Skyhawk. From the documentation I have I cannot determine from what version onward the wing fences have been added to the plane. It seems that there were none on the A and B versions. But then wing spoilers have been added only from the F version. But I don't seem to see what these look like.
I also note that the radio altimeter on the bottom left wing appeared only from the C version. Can anyone confirm? thanks Bruno |

Here is the first real model of the A-4A (or A4D-1 if you prefer).
I did this model with slats open. Still need to find a way to get the version with and without open slats in the same model (as an option). Will be the first of the series. (hope I'll make it to the KU, S, PTM and AF-1 versions. Hope you like it. B |

Bruno it looks very beautiful....well done.
Note: If I'm not mistaken .... on the ground, it should always be with slats open. YOAV |

And thanks, Don. Even with simple parts it came out rather realistic. |

A piece of art Bruno... even though it is a little too big for me .
However I think I am going to try one at 1/144... |

Perhaps this new model, the A4D-2 or A-4B with extra detailed options might be worth to try in 1/144
Made the slats with recessed wing slots and the rudder structure optional and added all extra probe lights, radio altimeter and fuel vent. Not sure if you can see all of that in the pictures. (The reference of this model was a bit confusing, so it might be the livery of an A-4C ) In the meantime I also changed (in the file, not on the model) the red inside of the A4D-1 slats to white. From literature it seems that the red inside of the slats became standard at about the same time as the white rudder, ailerons and elevators. With many exceptions. B |
