With especially Bruno's models, which are designed to be made of paper, not card stock, how do you manage to get a credible, straight, non-warped long cylinder? For example, the main fuselage cylinder. This part does not have a particularly large diameter, and the strip is narrow and long. How do you guys do it? with card, it is much easier, as you can glue a strip inside and then just put the edges against each-other.
Never tried it on something this small but on larger items I have used 2 dowels attached parallel to each other with elastic bands. After preforming the part as much as possible I then trap the paper/card stock between the dowels and clamp dowels in a small vice. This leaves both hands free to align the joint.

Just a small correction Bruno: From the net I get that Golden Warriors were VA-87 not VA-78.

I tried to understand how I do this myself and took some pictures of how I align the tabs while gluing. I use my fingers for larger parts and the aid of some tweezers for smaller parts.

I don't have four hands either. Although I do admit that I must have three in order to make that last picture.

Would it be possible to use seperate overlapping 'tabs? Something that would be a locating tab for adjacent parts too.

A little crazy idea. I did not build it like that, but in the future the next one might look similar :D

That would indeed be a crazy plane, Matis

Finished the corrected sluf. Hope you can see the details I added.
Now some more recolors and versions. (A-7A/B, TA-7C, A-7D and TA-7K)
But I should not forget to do the A-6 and EA-6 versions as well...
Some work to do this weekend (and weeks to come).
