My glue does not adhere very well to aluminium, so the result is fragile. I had to remove the aluminium from all tabs. Also still need to do the engine exhausts and prop blades.

A little bit late, this is the silverized paper I mentioned, which some couples choose to use for their wedding cards. It looks like the fivers of paper is coated or mixed wit a metallic sheen.

I used to use it for 1/144 planes, and now for blimps.

No 8 in my Wildcat story is double edition - Martlet Mk. IV from 888. NAS, HMS Formidable, pilot Lt. Dennis Jeram. The basic model is plane from summer 1943, but you'll get alternate parts for the same plane from Operation Torch, November 1943 with US stars.
