Hi Poland Ball. Welcome to the papermodelers forum. You have now discovered one of the jewels of the hobby, Scissors and Planes' incredible thread. He has posted an unbelievable number of designs here that are all 1/300, and free, and stored in the Download section. Then there are the 1:100 models, which cost $1.00 apiece. You can buy them at ecardmodels.com. They get added there when Bruno (S&P) and the keeper of ecardmodels have time to add them. There is a list that gets updated now and then (also in the Download/aviation section of this website). Look it over and you will be astounded at the variety, from WW1 through the latest jets. Try one out, build it, and post a picture of the results.
Bruno designs whatever his fancy suggests, and it is a whimsical thing to watch. That is part of the fun, actually. You can start at the beginning of the thread and work your way forward. It is a random walk through the history of aviation, with lots of discussion around construction methods, design strategies, and the pure pleasure of cutting and gluing. Enjoy!

It is very educational, by now there are about 1000 free models in 1/300, but you may enlarge them to 1/200 by printing them to 150%. Bombers included the trios of four engine planes of the RAF and the USAAF. With some of the classic fighter planes. Many modelers had enlarge them to 1/100 and 1/72 without a problem.

I discovered this thread during December while following links to the Dreamlifter. I have since read ( or mostly fast scanned) all of the 1209 pages. What a gold mine of information.
I just want to add my sincere appreciation and thanks to you and the other contributors for this wide variety of designs, re-colors , etc. I will have to return to this again and again. Sepp |

You're welcome Sepp and Poland Ball for stopping by.
Have been rather taken by work lately so little progress has been made. (this thread even slipped to page two of the forum) I also really need to make some room on my desk. It is as if the Hawker company invaded my home. B (PS: one model totally out of context. the company where I work is buying new electrical buses. So I could not resist making a simple model for them) |

Very nice, a thought has struck me just now, probably answered elsewhere. Do you have a space in your home? Are there planes etc on every flat surface including the ceilings? My mind boggles getting around how many of these you have designed, just staggering. Gifted, extremely gifted.

My intention was to go through the whole series up to the sea fury. (but work slowed me down considerably).
Still need to do the Tempest I, II, II with annular radiators, V prototypes, V srs 1, V srs 2, VI, Fury prototype, Fury Griffon, Fury Sabre, Sea Fury X, Sea Fury FB.11, Sea Fury T.20. So cross fingers. And if I really go bonkers, why not the Sea Typhoon (P.1009) |
