Roman's Vengeance may no longer be available, but I have it. It is a 1/100 model of A27-50 MJ-M of No. 21 Squadron RAAF.

I see that the old kampfflieger website (kampfflieger.webs.com) doesn't work, but I have sent Roman an email asking if he can make the model available. I think you also have been in touch with him, Mike, so you can ask as well.

Thanks.
I did a Vengeance a long time ago on a computer from another era.
I add it to my to do list. Somewhere at #3424 (give or take a few 100)

Not too difficult with the Dakota and Horsa.
It is the 74th anniversary of D-Day, the Allied invasion of fort Europe

An appropriate tribute, Bruno.

In the film, A Bridge Too Far, there is a wonderful scene of paratrooper-laden C-47s and Horsas pulled by Dakota's taking off for MARKET GARDEN. No CGI, but they made it look like an entire armada of aircraft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whnK8-hoRE0

More specific to D-Day June 6, but with no Horsas, are elements of the 101st Airborne Division taking off for Normandy in Band of Brothers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lamYp2WsJVA

Speaking of World War II aircraft, Why are bombers and some fighters named after and painted by women? I always found it curiose since I have a boeing liberator at scale

I'm sure there are other theories but I think it was to raise morale and it also made the identification of the plane/pilot easier. It was easier to call out a plane name than a tail number.
