Test-building the Brussels Airlines SSJ (actually leased from CityJet) Sukhoi SuperJet 100...

I really need to be more careful with the part the wings attach too. I've built 3 of them (DC-8-50, CS300 and now SSJ) and I've messed up all 3.

The color scheme needs some adjustments on the nose area (nose tip for sure) and I'm not sure of the shape of the blue area on the underside (or is it purple-ish black? blue-ish purple? I used the same blue as in the text logo). I haven't found a picture yet that shows the bottom of the plane.

I thought I would stop the build there but I made a new part to go inside the engine nacelles and need to test it...

edit: since I've printed that example I've added the CityJet and Star Alliance logos.

The Spearfish looks nice! Was that thing behind the canopy supposed to receive a radar?

No, it seems to be a remotely operated gun turret. (not installed on the prototype in the pictures I saw)

A gun turret? That seems so WW2! The Spearfish looks great on its legs.

I've added the wings and engines to the SSJ. The new part is a short tube that ends with the fan as a cover and goes inside the engine nacelle.

The Lao Central Airlines livery was very tempting but it also looked too complicated for me. Looking at Gerry's version, yep, it was! But so pretty.

Nice little airplane, Carlos.
thanks for the (continuous) contribution.

Here is mine (made some mistakes, like forgetting the roundels on the side of the fuselage)
It's another tail sitter, so I added a lot of paper in the nose.
