Juan,

The russian site that you posted a link for is a pirate site. Bruno updated Pablo's model (Do-328J) and posted it on page 542 of this thread. And it is that model that appears on the russian pirate site.

Mr. Google is actually pretty good at finding any model that you want here at PM. Here's the syntax that I used to find this one.

"do-328j site:www.papermodelers.com/forum/aviation/25109"

It's just a slightly advanced Google search technique. The 25109 is important because it limits the search to Bruno's thread.

Hope this helps. BTW, a moderator has been notified to remove the links to the pirate site, so hopefully that gets done soon.

Curt

I did not know that pirate site was a pirate site (that explains the strange symbols in the link) but thank you very much for letting me know about it, although I got to compare it with paper modelers because I found good models (he said before entering the area of downloads of that thread)

Postscript: can they ban you for putting links from pirated sites?
postscript 2: I found models of this thread in <pirate site removed>

Wireandpaper posted the Do 328 on page 542, here and the Do 328 Jet here on page 535. Kartonchris posted 3 recolors of those in the download section. See the vBDownloads tab in his profile and this thread for pics.

That's a great Tomcat, Bruno!

Don't worry, it's an honest mistake. Usually mods just remove the link to the pirate site and issue a warning.

Thank you very much for the clarification (I thought he was going to kick my ass to get me out of here for that)

I see where the confusion has come in here ... It seems to me that Bruno's original Do-328 was Labeled as a Fairchild-Dornier 328, and it was a pay for model that would not appear in these lists of free models. However, Wire&Paper did some recolours of it that were reduced to 1:300 and offered within this thread. Not being his own models, Bruno has not added them to his lists, but they are there if you use the Paperclip search method.

There are a couple more recolours by Kartonchris being offered in 1:250 and 1:300 scale on the Russian Pirate site. At least he does have the decency to acknowledge Bruno as the original designer though.

Why do I spend the time doing this? I have almost no interest in commercial airliners, but there are now a few more in my archives.

I think the same thing happens to me, but in the opposite direction, I'm not so interested in military models, but I have put together that B-1 and other fighters

Fairchild-Dornier 328

One of my first recolors was Dornier Do-328 in Policia Federal (Mexico) liverie. My good friend Wireandpaper made the design and as CAFE says was improved by Kartonchris. Here is the Policia Federal recolor. Regards,Tony.
