The dragonfly turns out to be a Aermacchi MB-339A from the Italian Acrobatic team "frecce tricolori".
and just to proof that the Cessna dragonfly is ready, I added a picture showing the MB and the printout of the Cessna. I guess it's the payload of the plane that frightens me. |

I already managed to correct the nose partly (see picture). The first part still seems to be dropping too much.

I raised the first part with half a millimeter (that's 5 centimeters in real life) and the result is much better.
Thanks Robert for the collaboration. My models are mostly direct builts from design without intermediate testing. So errors and surprises can occur (apparently not too much). Anyway if you see anything that goes wrong, please let me know. But remember that I make my models at 1/100 scale and with an "easy to build" philosophy. S&P |

Thanks S&P, the clip at which you are going is amazing. I am certain everyone would understand if you needed to hit "pause" at some point.

Thanks, Sturmwind for the advise.
You might even think I actually followed it, not showing my progress until now. I had quite some errands to do, so I only had limited time to work on my model. So the Cessna Dragonfly will have to do without all its ordnance, for the time being. Must admit that these weren't the most exciting parts to design or to build. Hope you like it. The last picture looks somewhat like a crash site. So call the NTSB Next will be either the thunderchief or the Gladiator. |

S&P,
the Dragonfly looks great! It can carry a lot of ordnance – and I am all too aware how much less exciting it is to assemble drop tanks, bombs and missiles than it is to build the plane itself. Thunderchief or Gladiator - both great options! Looking forward to seeing both. Oh, I am sure you mentioned this already: What are your thoughts on making your models available down the road? – Martin |

Here is the dragnfly with the ordnance attached.
I didn't start the next one yet. Coming soon |

Is it a pencil?
Is it a plane? It is the F-105D (in progress) ! |

And there is the result.
The F-105 is so huge that my cloud background (printed on A3 paper) was hardly big enough. One more to go; the gladiator. In the meantime I also did some "repaints" of previous models. I have a Mig 19 in blue and yellow, and a F-100 in Thunderbird and SEA Camo scheme. And I've been looking for plans for the next planes to design. I'm probably going to do some bigger planes in 1/300 scale. But first I need to clean up my desk again |
