Thanks everyone,

I should probably for once heed your advice and actually take it a little slower...

ok, that was long enough.

I knew you would not be upset but I should learn not to be either when I don't "deliver" my quota.

kindest regards and thanks
Bruno

There's no point in working yourself like a mule.
Come on, friend, give yourself (and us) a break.
I'm giving myself a break and don't want to get depressed just looking at
heaps of unfinished projects, PAPER and SODA CANS.

This is a relief, I thought I was the only one having a gilt trip not completing my quota of one model per calendar year! It seems that I can print a lot faster than I can build...

ps But boy, how I like admiring your models when the come out of the oven, and I must add, that also papermate, and the others. And this is a hobby, not work, no one is going to be fired.

They were a good source of civilian aircraft before I was introduced to Paper replika and then to Bruno. They were small and there was a great veriaty but they were created without using vector graphics and thus the detail was restricted. I did plenty of the Olympic Airways repaints and even a couple of planes for James, the designer of the airigamis. His old site had hundred of liveries but the current one has only a few.

You probably know that yesterday was the anniversary of the 50th anniversary of the first flight B747 and for this reason I have an idea for the model
Can make an anniversary model by painting B747-8 in painting the first prototype B747 adding an occasional inscription 50 years on the hull and on the sticker
I have a nice idea but I'm a bad graphic designer to do it and maybe some of you would do it I'm sure that it would look nice in our collections, as if I have a board with this painting which I can put as well

That would indeed be a nice tribute. Anyone up to the challenge?

Despite the frustration I vented earlier this week, I got one model done this weekend.
The relationship with the previous model is clear, yet wings, stabilizers, rudder and engine nacelles had to be redrawn.
More work than I expected.
