that Saturn 5 would be a good birthday gift (which I would buy)

postscript: one could set the stages individually and we can take the eagle module and the columbia?

and back to the Saturn V:

first attempt on the corrugated skin of the rocket. Not convinced. I could not cut my ribbons fine enough (around 0.8 mm would be needed) and they are not thick enough.

Any suggestions? I was thinking about using masking tape (I found some at 0,7mm but would have to wait ages to get it) or corrugated paper or card stock (if that exists in this fine structure).

Saturn V is iconic... can't wait to hang it up on the ceiling of my son's room next to the hanging diorama of the solar system.
