Nothing to do with the thread really, but just sparked by your name ...

Last week the unmistakable silhouette and contra-prop howl of a Wyvern was seen buzzing around my valley. I live in a low-fly zone. Magnificent ol' warbird. Dunno what it was doing here, but it played chase the sheep for a couple of days.

I don't think there's a Wyvern on Bruno's lists yet is there?

I recall Wyvern made some time ago when Bruno had taste for Royal Navy aviation.Whole string of them were made back than.I don't have the list handy to give you model number.

As of last January:

2698. Westland Wyvern S.4
2699. Westland Wyvern S.4
2700. Westland Wyvern S.4

There may have been others later and recolors that I don't have a record of.

Well no. Unless you can provide me a nice color scheme of a P-47N-15 (somewhere between 44-88884 and 44-89083).
IDK if this works or not, but it has a nice aerial walk around of an N-15

According to Wikipedia, there is only one left in the Fleet Air-Arm Museum, but that hump-back silhouette is pretty unmistakable, and the noise is fairly unique. If I'd known it was gonna come around several times I'd have had a camera to hand. Ain't seen or heard it since though.
