Talking

Submitted for your inspection. Feedback always welcome. I haven't proof-built this one so I'm not 100% sure of all alignments.

My first attempt at an S&P 1/300 repaint. MCDD DC-10 in Delta late 80's colors. This was the paint scheme for DC-10's acquired from the Western Airlines merger. Hope it looks acceptable.

The blue is a bit lighter than what was used on Delta aircraft of that era. The lighter color was used as my printer usually makes models a few shades darker than the image appears in my art program. When I print a Delta model with an accurate color blue, the blue parts come out black.

Also, my first attempt to post an attachment. If you see an attachment, I did it right. If not, I have failed and done something wrong.... Here we go!

Master Tony, thank you very much!
I guess you finish with the South American Sabres.

Looks good to me. Saw plenty of them going in and out of Hartsfield in that time frame!

That's very good looking recolor Funtime. The only way to find out if it's working is to build it and post picture along with it.

What program did you use?I agree on blu color, you have save them on models much lighter than intended because printers nearly always go darker than color on file.My last model was navy blue colored A3D and I had to make it lighter by 60% to get desired color and effect.Check my posts for it.

and here it is, the Colombian Sabre at 1/100 scale. Tony.
thanks tigre tony I would like to make a diorama of a hypothetical dogfight between a Colombian saber and a North Korean MIG-15 (because a Colombian squad went to the Korean war but if an F, A, C squad had gone too?)

Bloch MB.220,in Brunos catalogue it's number 1457

One of my friends works in office with rather oldish printer, this is the test of this printer. It does only B&W so this model is perfect for it.On other hand printer isn't.I won't use it again.

Model is rather interesting and afaik there are very few models of this plane were ever made.Bloch designed this plane about the same time as DC-2 and Boeing 247 were.
I'm sure if Bristol ever decided to make Blenheim a passenger plane it would likely look like this, just a bit smaller maybe 10-12 seater.

MB220 was flown before war,by Air Force during war and by Vichy,by German Lufthansa and by Air France after war so there are few recolor possibilities if someone feels like it.

Great MB.220, Karol!

I was always hoping that Bruno would design a strong of post-WWII French propliners. There were some good-looking ones. He DID provide us with some great pre-WWII French airliners, however.
