At 1:300 scale is more or less plausible, but when upscaling, the airplane looks strange. I feel that the panel lines are a bit heavy, I'm doing some work on them as well, something like Cafe do with his CH-46 Seahorse and the Mig 21 panel lines. Rear turret is also a place of oportunity for improving. Not to mention the recolors. All of this I'll show you in the thread This plane has my same age (and still in service)
Best Regards, Tony.
Looks like there would be a generation of “SAC time” B-52s here, my previously recolored B-52H with current “Gunship Grey” scheme also have a nose art named “SAC time” too, but different artwork

*I might gonna come up with “Old Crow Express” noseart on my “Desert Storm” B-52G with “Triangle K” on its fins or no noseart at all hehehehe

Thanks. I had a worse B/W version of that pic. The plane seems to be under a net whose shadow is showing on the fins and fuselage.

I'm not convinced the eagle currently in use on the outer sides of the fins of Israeli F-15s was already there in the 1980ies. I think it's a later development like on the F-16s.

Waylon This camouflage on the B-52 looks encouraging, if it was a Europen one in which the C-141 was also painted, the Carlos Israeli F-15s look great.

Mystery solved. In 1983, only the serial and unit badge were painted on the fins. The current Eagle motif started being painted in december 2001.

Bruno provides 2 sets of tails (with or without the Eagle motif) with model #1890.

Finally, looks like it is much easier now to do the recolor

P.S: was that photo from the left came from the page of Osprey/Squadron Signal books???

I wonder if there are models of that F-15 but without the missing wing

From what I know in a training test an A-4 and an F-15 collided in the air the pilot of the A-4 injected himself but the pilot of the F-15 felt that he could land it without the wing so he convinced his co-pilot of not injecting achieving that great achievement
