P.S: was that photo from the left came from the page of Osprey/Squadron Signal books???
No, it's from "Colors & markings of the Israeli Air Force" by Yoav Efrati, from IsraDecal Publication. I got it years ago from the Israeli Air Force History & Heritage Digital Library.

Hello again here

I just finished making the recolor of my modified B-52G Stratofortress in "Desert Storm" Two-tone scheme bearing the serial no. 58-0176, assigned to 2nd Bomb Wing in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. using my previous recolored "Linebacker II" B-52G as the base template.

*It is been said that it has a nose art called "Heavy Metal", but couldn't find such tho. I would come up with no nose art instead as there are existing photos of it. According to the website dstorm.eu, all B-52's nose arts that participated on were painted over(either hidden/removed) during the time the they conducts bombing sorties on the duration of Operation Desert Storm.

Here's the template of it, I hope you like it. Lemme know if there's some inconsistencies on the scheme/markings. Man, I wish Bruno would come back once again here, uploading an XF-108 Rapier tho hehehehe

Thank You very much Waylon!!! Hands on it immediatly. I plan to do it at 1:200 scale, which I found is the scale which more suits my neccesities (storage space, small pieces handling with fumbler fingers, etc.) Let's see how it goes. Again Thank You, Tigertony 100

Waylon,

Thanks so very much for the Desert Storm B-52G! The plane was part of the 379th bomb wing located at Wurtsmith AFB in my home state of Michigan. The Air Force Museum at Wright-Paterson has a large collection of B-52 nose art panels cut from the planes before they were destroyed. It contains a large number of panels of G models from Wurtsmith. At one point it could be accessed on line. If not, I have a large number in my digital files.

Dave

Your Welcome sir, just doing my efforts on it tho hehehehe
Thanks for giving the correct unit assigned to this plane sir, I couldn’t find the “Heavy Metal” Nose art painted on the exact serial number (s/n 58-0176). Can you upload here or send the “Heavy Metal” nose art if you have sir? Thanks

Waylon, may you upload image(s) from where you did your B-52 Desert Storm recolor? I take it as a guide. Thanks! Tony.
