Here are to begin with (and the fuselage test build was very satisfying (even if I'm saying it myself)) the prototypes of the B737-100 to -400.
yes, four models at once.
they all have two sets of wings. the -300 and -400 should perhaps better be build using metallic paper. that's why there is also a white version of these two prototypes.

Have fun
Bruno

Hello!

I'm kind of late getting to this thread, but my favorite have always been airliner models (from the 1970s, mostly) and you've really given us an amazing selection here. And I have been looking at Steve's tutorial on recoloring models and do plan on trying some out pretty soon.

Thank you so much!
Kurt

Matthew, did you build it 1/300 (the B737-300 post #1700), it looks quite large on the cutting mat.
What's its length, please?

Well, it was originally 1:300, but enlarged to 1:100 and recolor by Gerry1966....

Look at Shaun's thread here: Boeing 737 Alaska Airlines beta build

You can get the model here: PaperModelers.com - Downloads - Boeing 737-300 Air New Zealand

It is 13 inches in length, 13 inch wingspan, and 4 1/2 inches in height.

Hi ,

Those B737 were in 1:250 scale originally and were converted to 1:100 scale , and Bruno's B747-400 is in 1:300 scale

So 1:100 > 1:300

so B737 > B747 ..... at thses scales

Fahd.

The second Tu-104, Československé aerolinie, is ready. This time it's newer version with red "winged" stripes, that were used in 60's and in beginning of 70's.
Plane with registration OK-NND, called "Plzeň", was the best of all 6 Czechoslovakian Tu-104's. Pilots liked it for its excellent pilotage characteristics. Unfortunately, before dawn 1.6.1970, this plane was destroyed in accident on approach to runway 36 of Tripoli Airport. That was special flight, luckily with only 13 people onboard. Due pilot error plane crashed into desert terrain, killing all of them.

I have just uploaded another 1/300 plane. It´s tested:

Laker Airways Bac 1-11 in 1/300 scale. Based on Gerry´s model with shorter series 300 fuselage, improved nose cone, engines and details. Also great to enlarge to 1/200, 1/144 or any other scale. Included separate engine and leading edge parts for printing in bare metal paper (better adhesive) if you go for bigger scales. Enjoy.

Bruno, your 737 family is fantastic!!! I´m going to build the 737-100 with adhesive bare metal paper foil in the belly. And Aluminium one for wings.
