Hello here on this thread
I’m currently planning on making recolors of 1/300 scale Boeing 747, which bears the markings of the doomed Pan Am Flight 103, I was wondering if somebody know what is the exact/closest similar font name of the “Clipper Maid of the Seas” that were painted below the left and the right side of the cockpit (“Clipper Spark of the Ocean” on the photo below, I guess both were having the same calligraphy) ? I’m quite having hard time finding such, especially I already used some kind of identify font sites, Thank you for the response *Photo below taken from Wikimedia Last edited by DrDrei642; 04-20-2021 at 07:59 AM. |

You could take a photo of the plane because as far as I read there are photos of it and download the name and numbers and paste on the model after it is completed

Aircraft From Wikipedia
N739PA as Clipper Morning Light at San Francisco International Airport in 1978 N739PA as Clipper Maid of the Seas at Los Angeles International Airport in 1987. The explosion occurred almost directly under the "A" in "Pan Am" on this side of the fuselage, in the forward cargo hold. The aircraft operating Pan Am Flight 103 was a Boeing 747-121, registered N739PA[7] and named Clipper Maid of the Seas;[8] prior to 1979, it had been named Clipper Morning Light.[9] It was the 15th 747 built, and was delivered in February 1970,[10][11] one month after the first 747 entered service with Pan Am.[10][12] In 1978, as Clipper Morning Light, it had appeared in "Conquering the Atlantic", the fourth episode of the BBC Television documentary series Diamonds in the Sky, presented by Julian Pettifer.

Hello Andrei, no fonts available for such work. Take a sample of originals and re-draw over them.

I think you may release it in Ecardmodels and the proceedings would be half for you and half for Bruno (if I am correct?) |
