Inky,

I haven't done the C-5 (yet). Big aircraft (approx over 30 meters) usually are done in 1/300. I have some limited space to store them . (see picture of B-52 attached.)
For the time being the models are (still) for personnal use only.

So as promised I created the Saab J35 Draken today.
Once again I took the color scheme from the same museum.

Tomorrow, if I don't have anything else to do, I'll start the CF-100 Canuck.

So I changed y mind. (the CF-100 is not really a beauty)

And since we're getting close to the 14th of July, I prepared an Alpha jet from the "Patrouille de France".

But what aircraft can I build for the Belgian National feast?

A Fouga Magister in Diables Rouges colours? Or alternatively, their current mount: the SF-260?

Very nice AlphaJet!

Seems a very good idea. (both of them) I'm tempted.

Just checked. the SF-260M comes in various color schemes. I remember the brown-green one. Had the chance to fly in one (as a passenger) when I was about six or seven. But the black, yellow and red might be interesting as wel. Hm, hesitating.

By the way, my apologies to the US for missing out on the 4th of july with a model. I must have somewhere a Skyhawk in Blue Angel colors.

A Belgian F-104 would be nice. I agree the CF-100 is not too pretty, it was nicknamed "the Clunk" after all. However the prototype had a much nicer look to it. Gloss black overall with a white lightning stripe down the fuselage and a slender nose cone.

Jeff

Beautiful work. Your design talents are matched by your building speed, which also appears to be pretty near flawless.

Thanks for the ideas and the comments.

In the meantime I finished the SF-260M in Red Devils colors (Diables Rouges). (Yeah, I'm not working for the moment, so I'm very productive in paper models)

I think I'll go for the Belgian F104 in camo. One of my father's favorites. He managed twice to land the aircraft with an engine flame out.
