I think there are three possible reasons for this issue: the first being that the piece has been designed too small the second that you left the piece a bit too wide when glueing the last being the upscaling combined with either of the two above. What I did was put the front section as good aligned as possible with the top and bottom and then conceal any difference with the cockpit. I know the model is not perfect, but at this scale it is rather difficult. Anyway, here are two other liveries: the evaluation planes from NASA and the Marines. Bruno |

The step isn't as visible with the canopy in place even if it makes it look a bit like a RAF Harrier with the canopy inside the shoulders.
Here are some pics of the finished model (with so many spots of glue...). Next one will be either the spanish AV-8S or one of the white AV-8As. With Ojimak's Sea Harrier and my Dagger. Thank you for the GR3!

I realy like the Harrier and your Dagger!
I should also color my kink edges in the future. What glue do you use? My white glue soaked the small parts very. regards |

I use the good old Uhu twist and glue in a yellow bottle. It's stringy though, hence the glue smears on my build. There's a solvent-less version with a green collar, regular version has a black collar.

My recolor of Antonov An-10A is ready and uploaded. Of course, it's Aeroflot livery (nobody else used it) :-)
Hope you'll like it!

Next repaint/mod up is the XC-97 first proto-type. First flown Nov. 15th, 1944. Used the lower fuselage, wings, engines, tail of the B-29, from which it was spawned.. Changed to the taller vert. tail, newer, larger engines with the YC-97 pre-production models.. Oh and Gerry, thanks again for letting me use the L/G you created..

Well ... Airyplanes got pushed aside over the weekend by a Goldfinch and a Henderson motorbike...
but there's 50% of a B-47 on the table. However, that's now been superseded by loads of little jump-jets. Which one to build first though? And there's some nice Argie kites cropping up to go with them too, but I'll have to wind some of them down from 1:200. Yes, I got involved down there too. My team's allocated Chinook was on Galahad. Fortunately our radio equipment was with us on QE2. She dropped us off at Goose Green, but the mast was needed at Stanley. Longest bloody hike I've ever done. My boys were hoppin' mad though ... The fightin' was all over by the time we got there. Keep on snippin' ... Johnny |
