You shouldn't have worried - a bug is a bug, and, once discovered, that one was fixed in a few minutes, anyway!

Nando, you'll find a few T-38 in NASA colors at the bottom of this page at AXM Paper Space Scale Models. They're Richard de Vries's work and the scale is 1:72.
Michi, yes Bruno F-5 (it's actually an A model) would be a good start : - change the front fuselage (shorter on the F-5B/T-38) + design a new canopy/spine and you get an F-5B. - reshape the air intakes and change the wing and you get a T-38A IIRC my F-5B and my T-38 share the exact same fuselage, the only difference is a line in front of the windshield. (also, dude, it was my first design on computer and my fist attempt at scale accuracy!)

Here is my model for today: the Rockwell XFV-12A in two liveries, the prototype color and a could have been navy scheme (used on the mockup)
building note: know that the fuselage is rather squared son do not build it as a round tube. the nose section would not fit onto the rest of the plane. And I know I should be doing edge coloring, but then you wouldn't see where the parts join. (I actually found a "good" excuse not to edge color ) and for the fun of it: my first attempt had a huge mistake in it: I actually colored the wings upside down. Bruno |

Just to make sure I do not seem rude, thanks everyone for this interesting discussion on the T-38 and F-5 differences and the contributions to this thread.
I'm obviously too focused on getting the next model ready that I forget to thank you all or to react to posts. Bruno |

The Rockwell XFV-12A has been on my 'WHIF' wish list for so long.
Looks great Bruno. Thank you so much. Although, i'm going to have to enlarge it a bit, and then, find some time to build it! At the rate i'm going it will be the winter before i can get to it! Can hardly wait to see whats next. It's like a little birthday or christmas present every day! Cheers... Ray |

Another X-plane to continue the production line: the Ryan X-13 Vertijet. You can choose between the only two models that were build by selecting the tail. This model represents the wheelless model that took off and landed on its inclined platform. (Anyone care to design that?)
building note: you can replace the paper version of the landing gear by a metal one if you prepare. Bruno |
