I think I know the reason of the problem. I think my printer was faulty that day, so the print size was weird. I reprinted it today, and it was fine.

I do make mistakes, I know. but this time it was the printer.

That recolor would indeed look very nice. I think they call it the carbon or carbon-fiber livery.

I'm not able to do it since I'm working hard on my next model (after work).
Here is a picture of the actual state of my build. I hope you will be able to recognize the model.

Here is the final result of the test build. I messed up here and there.

Need to tweak a few parts, especially the bottom of the floats before I can release the model.

Unfortunately for this model I had only a few plans (2 or 3 views) that contradicted each other. For the A and M versions I had better luck with finding some good technical drawings. But I wanted to do this version first.
