Hmm! Buccaneer huh? I forgot them. They were based up the road a bit at Laarbruch. We only had Phantoms at Bruggen, which were replaced by Jaguars. Plus some Lightnings and Canberra that were being dismantled.

Buccaneer is a curvy beast, as is the Phantom. Should be quite a challenge in 1:300, but I have total faith in you.

So ... the Arrow was a stillborn '50s kite, like the TSR2, eh. By your offered liveries, I gather it did enter service in Canada? Exceptionally good looking bird though. I look forward to making it.

Total shut-down on my production line for now though, due to re-decoration duties. Plus I'm suffering major web connection problems. I thought it was my PC throwing a wobbly at first, so I've now cracked out the laptop, but it's nearly as bad as the PC. I'm beginning to suspect the problem may be the router. State of the art when I bought it, but it's getting on a bit now.

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.

PS: Tripped over this whilst Googling the Arrow http://blogs.ottawacitizen.com/2013/...e-to-the-f-35/ Could be an interesting one.

If this model can convince anyone to do a good deed for those people in the world victim of disaster or war (Philippines, Syria,...) , I would appreciate it.

the C130, being the workhorse of the humanitarian aid, is the most appropriate model for this purpose.

thanks in advance.

I'm not going to start building today, but just to bring the "good" news, here is a picture of the printed Buccaneer.

That is indeed a standard modeling knife.
(Oh, weep my weary eyes).

Why didn't you do it in your 1/100 series?

I really wish folks would do build threads on some of these. When it comes to aircraft, I need at least a few build photos and hints to build them. I'm sure it is a bit of a mental block

Cool, it looks so simple in the flat I love these little'uns. Y'know, there's room for three more on that sheet. You could get a lightning, a phantom, and a Jaguar on there. Again, requesting white ones. Honest, we really did paint them all white. It was called Cold War Cam. The message was "Hey Ivan, we're here! There's more than enough of us and we ain't hiding! " What brave fools we were, eh?

Our two day exercises ended with all the planes taking off. No point in carrying on further. In the "For Real" scenario, we knew they wouldn't be coming back, and our airfield was a prime target.

My Valiant now has two wings on, but no tail yet. I got dragged upstairs to paint a ceiling. I'm impatient to start on the Bear, but SWMBO probably has other ideas for me.

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.

PS: Lovin' the Herkybird. I want one in RAF livery. I live in a low fly zone and I swear I can count the pilot's teeth as he lifts the Herk's nose to avoid my chimney.
