seems pretty accurate. I'd use it. The wingspan may be a little small, but i'm not sure.

A question:
There's an easy way in the forum to jump at a specific post using his number?

Thanks in advance, Nando

There is the beautiful sleek looking long-distance SM-64, (commemorated in Rio de Janiero with a 1:2 model as a monument) , the twin boom fore-and-aft engined floatplane racer SM-65 (which could have given the Supermarine S6 a real challenge, except for mechanical problems), and the three engined SM-66 (a "super SM-55"). All delicious subjects for models, if anyone has 3-views.
Hi Rob,
I've seen these planes too when looking for info on the SM55. And yes, decent 3-views are hard to find. Even if I'm in a British period, I never exclude other models from my list. So I'm always interested in good info as well.

Nando,
if you want to get to the posts in order to download the models there is an easy way.
Start from the Aviation Forum page. look to the right on the line of this thread. There is a paperclip symbol. clicking (or double clicking) the symbols opens another window with all the attachments of the thread. I know, there are many. In my computer they are sorted in reversed alphabetical order. So look through the list and when you get to the model you want, click on the name. Normally that should open the pdf file of the model.

Nilharsh,
as you might have seen in the thread, I'm actually in a 1/100 scale interwar design series for the time being. The Tejas is somewhere on my long to do list in 1/300 scale (or perhaps 1/100). If you are patient, you might find it one day on this thread.

Chicharrero,
I found that 3-view as well and some other more detailed ones as well. (with a little help from some friends ) see this site http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2072224

Again a busy work week. not much time to design. the next model is taking form in 2D. Building it in 3D will have to wait till the weekend. :(
