I would like to do a kind of "modern" version of the 747 SCA, so I was thinking about using the engines from the 787 and maybe the wings from the 777-9x
my question is: the wing of 777-9x is the same of the modern 747?
can I just use the 787 engines on the old 747-SCA wings? do I have to modify something to make them fit in?

I redrew and tested the DH.9A fuselage (with an erroneous double roundel ), so now the 5 British versions can be officially re-released. In order to make amends, I added 5 foreign recolors to the list. (not all the sources I used are certain or clear, so there might be mistakes.

Nr 985 De Havilland DH.9A latvia
Nr 986 De Havilland DH.9A Russia (green)
Nr 987 De Havilland DH.9A Russia (white)
Nr 988 De Havilland DH.9A Portugal (Patria)
Nr 989 De Havilland DH.9A Spain
(if this is correct. It has red and gold roundels and H-12 number on the tail. at one place I read it had been used in the Spanish Sahara)

And I even had the time to design and test the fuselage of a Belgian version of the DH9.
More will follow.

Here is my build of the S&P Airbus 380 in British Airways Colors. I am not normally a Civilian airline builder but this one grabbed my attention. Probably won't be my last Airliner Build. This Build was relatively pain free, the wings are a bit fat in my eyes but that is builder error not design. I scaled it up by 116% when I was sending other 1/100 projects to the printer so this one is 1/254? scale. Now I need to figure out how to build a set of landing gear for this monster....As always comments and critiques are welcome. Thank you Bruno for so many different subjects to build.

You are welcome, Darren.
thanks for sharing your photos.

Since a new month started, I have to update my list of available models. It appears that with all the different coloring schemes I managed to make 83 new models since last month.

Thanks a lot
I simply had to fill the gap. I did it with some recolors though (no time for a new model since I had to help out my son).

Nr 997 De Havilland DH.9 Peru
Nr 998 De Havilland DH.9 Ireland
Nr 999 De Havilland DH.9 Turkey green
Nr 1000 De Havilland DH.9 Turkey grey

Now I have to find some psychological aid. There is really something wrong with me!!! Just take a look at the figures:
  • 1000 models in 1/100 scale
  • 604 free models in 1/300 scale (or 1/100 scale)
  • 83 models in the last month
  • 943 models since I joined the site (a little less than 2 years)
  • 450.000+ views
  • 4800+ posts
and not very modest with all that

Thanks everyone for encouraging me in this wonderful addiction called paper modeling (and for supporting me on this site. In French support has the meaning of giving support and tolerating . The pun was intended)

Let's go for another 1000 other models (at least)

Bruno
