Congratulations Bruno!!!
Why limit yourself to just one thousand more? Lets put the target at 5000 with a few 500 benchmarks in between. After all, once all the plane models are done, you can proceed with science fiction, sea and land ... ;-) Great work, my friend, and a great achievement too. Now seriously, don't you think guys that this could be a Book of Guiness record??? |

Dear Bruno:
Your #2 Hs 123, could easily became your #1001 Hs 123 Condor Legion, which could be the Scheherezade model. happy designing and recoloring. Pablo |

Wow Bruno,
That's quite an accomplishment, and thanks for sharing so many great models with us. Now on to the next 1,000 Mark |

Thanks everyone.
I started a new model to celebrate the 1000-mark. It's a rather complex machine with unusual shapes and lots of struts (48 if I count correctly). It will be more than twice as large as it is long. The fuselage itself exists in two different forms depending on the plane you want to represent, a flat one and one with an higher roof. This will definitely require a test-build. The engines alone have 26 pieces each. It will be a festival for riggers. What could it be, I wonder... Designing in the evening after work it will take more than one day. So grant me a little time. @Theberto, sorry for not intervening in your discussion. I don't have all the answers to your questions and I'm too focused on the 1/100 scale models of a completely different period. Bruno |

Scissors and Planes takes to the air...
Hi Bruno,
Sorry it`s taken so long, but here is the first of your models converted to a flying (rubber powered) version I`ve done a repaint and scaled it up to 13 inch wing span...( we call this Peanut scale) She has a peck polymers plastic prop (borrowed from a previous Fury Peanut) And is built using Tissue paper mounted on to 2mm polystyrene foam. The wheels are turned balsa, All struts are balsa wrapped in paper.... I have done a test glide across my room, she looks to be a very promising flyer Cheers Lee |
