Bruno, you have gone above & beyond! I have built a couple of your planes (and enjoyed them), but I was waiting until I have time to build another before buying one. However, now I have to get this one, even if it is sits unbuilt in my computer for a while. This is one of my three favorite WWI bombers along with the HandleyPage O400 and the Airco DH10 Amiens.

I bought a pla$#!c model of the Felixstowe a few years ago but never assembled it. Now I probably never will all because of you! I can't wait to see the recolors.

Here are the pictures.

Now I have to adapt a few minor parts and in about an hour I can officially release my:

Nr 1001 Felixstowe F2A late (blue-white)

There should be some recolors in the coming days. After building this model I don't think I'll have enough energy to design another one this weekend.

Bruno
Very impressive model.
I think you are now very tired after designing and building it.
It is time to design a small Scud 1 glider to relax you.

If you are planning some of this recolors, you could be sure I'll buy them as I bought the blue one.

Best, Nando

Hi Nando,
that is indeed a source I am using. I already did the two on the top left.
the test build was the second down right.
For the moment I can only do the "late" versions with the flat fuselage though.

Here are the first official releases of the recolors:

Nr 1002 Felixstowe F2A Late (red horizontal lines)
Nr 1003 Felixstowe F2A Late (Green and white)
Nr 1004 Felixstowe F2A Late (red checkers and lines)
Nr 1005 Felixstowe F2A Late (red checkers and green)

for the color schemes, these are the "late" versions of the first column on the picture posted by Nando, with the latter two reversed.
