Thanks, Péricles.
I took a little break from the Sopwith family and went to the other side. Here is the first picture of the progress. This will not be too difficult to guess (there is a hint in the picture) Bruno |

Gotha GV, the development of the GIV.
Good idea because Kampflieger have made the G IV. |

Thanks guys,
It is indeed the Gotha G.V (not the GIV) main differences can be found in the engines. I do admit that the plans I found are not always very clear or precise on the exact form and position of the gangway. despite the very busy day, I've made some progress. Here is a picture to show the status Bruno by the way, does anybody know if this model was also painted in the night version of the 5-tone camo and if that included the lower surfaces? |

Bruno, I couldn't find any night camo pictures in the books that I have, but I did find this strange color scheme.

Thanks Sygrod and CaptMike for the input.
I finished the test build of the Gotha GV. I need to adapt the struts a bit (as can be seen on the pictures. some struts are too short or too long). The model takes so much space on one page, that I don't have room left for some extra struts for the elevators. I guess I'll better make it a two-pager. Bruno |
