#720 Mitsubishi A6M2-N Rufe

Just purchased a bunch of planes from Bruno....1:100, boy, these are small. Couldn't find my regular knives and cutting board, so this was done with the trusty mat knife and junk mail catalogue as cutting board! Workmanship is kind of rough, especially at the floats, but Bruno certainly captured the likeness. Thanks!

Dear Mwangarch:
Very nice model. You should try some of the free models by Bruno, like the FW-190 and the Spitfire, or his Corsair in post 3619!
Best regards.
Pablo

Dear Bruno:
Nice collection of Albatros, but I am also confused keeping track of the individual planes.
Happy modeling.
Pablo

Hi Mwangarch,
Thanks for sharing your impressions and picture of the build.
I think you pulled it off very well. And I do admit that the model is small... compared to the knife just next to it. (Crocodile Dundee would say: "Now, that's a knife)

You did a great job on the Rufe.

Here is the next model (well test build). After changing the "blatant" error the model will be available in 4 versions

Nr 1138 Albatros W4 early canvas
Nr 1139 Albatros W4 early camo + wood
Nr 1140 Albatros W4 early camo + grey
Nr 1141 Albatros W4 late camo + grey

the difference between the early and the late version is the type of radiator: either ear-like on the side of the fuselage, or a flat radiator in the middle of the top wing.

Test build is Nr 1140 (uncorrected). Oh yes, one prop blade is a bit loose on the picture.

Time to clear my desk.
Here a final view of the fur-ball. I wonder who is winning this dogfight.

Dear Bruno:
If I may, what do you do with the models? Set them nicely, store them, box them, donate them to happy children in the "Grand Place", or trash them?
Happy cleaning.
Pablo

I second Jeff's vote.
The W-29 would be a good subjet, for example in Chritinsnsen's colors.

Was busy at work. Time for drawing very little. While repainting only one B777-300 and another model AN124-100.
