Here is the Airbus A300-600 in two liveries (the prototype colors and an Air France version). I corrected the engine intakes in this model.
The pictures show the Air France version. This plane has some significance for me. When my eldest kid was born, an Air France A300 was taken hostage and stormed. (With that info, you might know the age of my son )
Amazing as always!

Keep it running, you are doing a wonderful work.

Best, Nando
Thanks, Nando,

for me it's a sort of therapy. (suffering from chronical pains, this helps me think about something else, while still being present for my family. Ok, stop, enough about me).

The rhythm is indeed very high and this means that I also do make mistakes (see three posts earlier).

You are not "forced" to follow that rhythm. just make your choice and enjoy the building. (and post a picture )

Two other color schemes for the A300-600:
- Lufthansa in it's old livery
- and Zero G in it's old livery
enjoy.

If these little birds are to continue getting smaller we could end up with the Red Arrows Hawk or even it's smaller predecessor the Folland Gnat/Midge.

BUT we've visited this scene before ... haven't we Asaf? I still suspect a BIG matchbox ... ;-)

red ARROWS -first model to show here

Any chance of a copy of the templates ? The link in your 2009 post is long gone.

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.

June 1976: Air France Flight 139, originating in Tel Aviv, Israel and carrying 248 passengers and a crew of 12 took off from Athens, Greece, headed for Paris, France. The flight was hijacked by terrorists, and was eventually flown to Entebbe Airport in Uganda. At the airport, Israeli commandos rescued 102 of the 105 hostages.

You make me look old. it's a nice try, but the hijacking I'm talking about ended in Marseille. I was talking about a highjacking around Christmas 1994. (I just gained 18 years )

Here's my final picture of the weekend (Perhaps)
I built one of the British Airways B757 versions. The one with the rose on the tail, to give to one of my daughters.
You can find it in the set of 5 BA models, somewhat earlier in this thread.

Just to show that my Lightning does exist. Click the yellow bar to zoom in. See, the nose cone is in there ... ...

Much as I dislike the pregnant bulge, I have added the belly tank as it is a vital part of the plane. I note that it has neither a Rarden canon (Longer belly bulge) or Sparrowhawk missiles fitted. Fast as it was it wasn't a good idea going Bear hunting totally unarmed, so I'll have to do a bit of modding and tack on some missiles.

Luckily the Bear is still a WIP though ... My excuse is ... 8 x 1:300 propellers . I wasted quite a bit of time experimenting with clear plastic discs to simulate props in use, but in this scale, with contra-rotating props, the discs need to be perfectly round and perfectly flat ... or they just look naff. Might try again with thicker plastic but the re-cycling van came round Friday, so none available just yet.

Thanks for the updated links asaf. I guess I'll have to shrink it myself and find my own matchbox, eh? I really loved that little Diorama over Buck House. I presume you made it for the Jubilee?

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.
