Café,
Very nice F4U Corsair repaints, and landing gear Would you be planning on doing the "bird cage" F4U-1? would be nice to see it in the set for completeness...

Yup, the Birdcage Corsair is in the cards. I just went though 5 versions of the canopy and now have to decide between v4 and v5 of the aft fuselage. The picture below shows v3 aft fuselage with v4 canopy (v5 canopy is a simplified version of v4). I still hate the windshield.

All this to say it needs at least 2 more test builds and maybe a v6 windshield. Also I need to make the aft fuselage more ovoid and less round when I build them.

edit I also made a quick recolor during lunch break yesterday and I want to build over the weekend.

Very nice work so far!!
they are looking great! One thing I would fix is the engine front, it is round instead of oval as it is now. they got the odd shape when they added scoops to the later versions. The canopy looks good so far as well, shape seems to be very close. The one with the flat pane was used on the -4 and later ones.

Done

The circle is a tiny bit smaller than the actual drawing but it's so it adapts to the model's actual front fuselage.

I had promised some photos of the build Osprey so here they go. Along I have a picture of the Osprey with a few other of Bruno's goodies.

Nice builds Stormeagle! Is the RF-84 one of Bruno's 1:100 models that you rescaled?
