A plane called "Soviet Dakota"

Do you know what is this plane? A little indefatigable airliner that flew in the half of the world more than 40 years - it's Ilyushin Il-14.
And it's my today's present for you. I've made first three versions.
Il-14P Aeroflot (oldest version for 18 passengers)
Il-14P Interflug (same version)
Avia Av-14-32 Czechoslovak Airlines (Czechoslovak license version, improved and adapted for 32 passengers)
More versions to come, including the longest Av-14 Super for 40 people.

Hope you'll like it! ;-)

Welcome Samboloco (Name or AKA?).

You may want to share some of your Bruno's builds. Even if you may not consider them up to the standard of Bruno, Tatasam, Papermate, Café, or the young N96HBK, just to name a few fellows (sorry for my omissions) is always nice to see others builds. And with Bruno's you have all kinds of subjects. Remember, "tambien los gigantes empezaron desde chiquitos" or even giants started as little ones.
Happy modeling,
Pablo
Thanks for the welcome. I really enjoy this hobby and Samboloco is what I call myself. Here is one of my last builds, I guess you will recognize it. I will upload some more some other time. Greetings!

Out of curiosity of what a black Mariner would look like, I spent a couple of hours finishing just the fuselage to find out. It sure is a beauty. As I'm in the middle of beta building, I'll present the finished black Mariner in the appropriate thread, Bruno's planes, later. Oh, the scale is 1/200 to fit in my collection at the same scale.

Very good work, Bruno, bet there'll be a dozen of them, at least.

Bruno
Aérojournal had a monography of the PBM Mariner in their december 2014/january 2015 issue. It has a pic and a profile of a PBM-5 of VPB-20 in black camo and the number 110 at the top of the tails. The pic was taken in Palawan, Philippines in december 1944. The Mariner progressively took over the night missions previously carried by the Black Cats. The missions were called Nightmare.

Squadron 524 of the RAF operated Mariners GR.I (PBM-3S) for a few months at the end of 1943. They weren't used operationnally and were returned to the US Navy between january and june 1944.
