Have a small question. To assembly S&P models I must cut that pink rectangles from fuselage and other parts or glue it without cutting?
When without - there is some "steps" on airplane fuselage.

talls6 - Belated thanks for your images of your Grumman FF-1 model. It certainly was a historic airplane, and I have always liked its appearance, and that of the follow-on, and slightly tubbier, SF-1.

Did you use bond (90gsm) paper?

Don

Thanks Don - I am a huge Grumman fan so I will be doing the Fighter line from the ff-1 to the F8F. I might start a Thread just for that project. Something about the tubby barrel shapes that appeal to me. Not Elegant, until the F8F and F7F, but were rugged and dependable and got the job done.

I cannot remember what Weight paper I used. I sent them to the printer back in January. I think it was Laser 60Lb from Kinkos. I like the weight for the main structures but it can make the smaller pieces a little tougher to roll/fold.

Hi KKS,

there are two possibilities. Either you leave the pink tabs attached, but then there will be steps in the fuselage (certainly with thicker paper), or you can remove them and replace them with inner tabs. those should be about twice as large (in order to glue them on both parts) but a little shorter.

hope this helps

Bruno

Did another test of a horse today. Managed to get one picture before the battery of the camera was empty.

And now I should be going back to airplanes.

I have not tested them yet, but I hope they all fit together. Thanks Bruno for such a nice model!!!
Cool! Has anyone seen the new Singapore a350? Looks super cool, would love a model of it. Or the Vietnam A350, that ones cool too.
