Philippine Air Force Sabre
We got F-86's too. When our Air Force was once on the top of its form.

The Philippines Sabres were F-86F-25/30/35 (a few of them from Spain). Many of them were upgraded to F-86F-40 standard.

Does this include the Sabre Dogs? I thought they were from Taiwan or Japan by that time. Thanks Carlos for that info. |

My source doesn't mention any F-86D (or K or L) for the Philippines, only Fs, which is weird because the PAF did get some 20 F-86D. It doesn't mention the japanese F-86D either though there's a pic of one on the next page. LOL, I expected better from Key Publishing.

I also found pictures on the D version from the Philippines (Nr 1990).
The F-series has not been recolored so there is no PAF version available for now. The YF-96 (with one type of inlet) is corrected and finished. I have no real info on the other inlet, so I will not try that version. B |

As well as seeing these amazing models, I get an education. Reading up on those I have no knowledge of. The thread that goes on giving, appropriate for the time of year.

Thanks, Don and Mike.
Now that it is weekend, I found some time for a new design. Here it is in its test build. B |
