Ok, then the first two will be more like recolors than new models.

And here is number 3: Mirage IIIB

Oh, by the way. Does anyone of you have a 3-view of the Mirage III prototype?
(not the Mirage I aka Mystère Delta aka MD.550)

The one I have isn't very detailed and doesn't show the undersides. The Mirage III 001 used the wings of the unfinished Mirage II.

I think the Geli model looks more like the Mirage III 001 than a Mirage IIIC or the Mirage IIIA 01.

edit: oh, I also have these.

I have no idea when the windshield was changed for the final version (3 parts). Was it during its first life as the Mirage III 001 or was it after conversion to the VTOL Balzac V?

The last flight mentioned (september 1965) was the second crash as the Balzac V. The first one in 1964 claimed the life of Jacques Pinier in 1964 and the second one killed major P. E. Neale.

Awesome models! I've spent a few hours building a small bomber fleet -- I'll have to get a pic when I've got them assembled -- to play a tabletop game with.

I was wondering about the repaint of these... firstly, is it OK to do so? Second, how are people accomplishing this? Just good old photoshop then?

I'm wanting to do a repaint of the C-130 to match a local Air National Guard unit: my friend is an outgoing crew chief and my uncle was a mechanic with the 146th at Channel Islands ANG, and it'd be cool to have a model of one of their squadron!

Obligatory pic for reference:

Now that I look at it, they have J models of the Herky bird with different props and nacelles... is there a J model out there for sale or download?

Thanks for the awesome work!

Bruno draws them in word. They're vector based models. I use a vector based drawing program to recolor them. Other people use Corel Draw or Illustrator.

You can also use a bitmap based program like Photoshop, the Gimp, Paintshop Pro or Paint.net.

I use Inkscape which I found out from this thread and used it for the first time to recolor one of Bruno's free models. Rather easy to use and you can do miracles once you get the hang of it.
