YESSSS!!! Canadair!!!Thank you Bruno.
And I second you on what you say. This is the best tribute to the men and women putting their lives on the line trying to put out the summer fires, saving lives, properties and natural habitats.

Great choice, Bruno.
Our thanks to all who risk their lives to fight against fire.
In Spain, Canadairs are known as "botijos".
Those typical earthenware containers to keep the water cool.

Dear Bruno:
You are full of surprises! Totally unexpected.

The Thai CL-215 was not yellow:

And the Malaysia Bombardier 415MP is not yellow:

Just in case you are considering recolors (or adaptations like the 415).
Happy designing and modeling,
Pablo

You guys are gold! Thank you for your beautiful recolors and designs.

I am adding few more to the collection.
F-117 with US flag scheme, fictional Ace Combat skin for Eurofighter Typhoon (I made it as a german fighter) and the last one is also not real, an Su-30SM China Air Force. To my knowladge China AF have this skin with Su-30MKK.

Best regards

Matis

That's an oddly colored Typhoon.
Thanks for the additions.

finished my test build. Cockpit need some correction. the rest seems ok to me.
Note that I printed the model on yellow paper to save ink. Guess how I got the red color ?

Nice !
I've always wanted a canadair model, when I studied near Marseille they were training almost everyday. Now I miss the sound of their engines .

Good question, how did you get the red color

The fun thing about this, is that I found it out while wanting to make a Tintin Moon rocket in red-white checkers. Since my yellow ink went dry during printing, I actually ended up with a "Barbie" moon rocket in magenta and white.

So if you print magenta on yellow paper, you get a red result.

Bruno, have you given a thought to doing the CL215 that didn't turn out well in Bob'smodel?

Perhaps I should elaborate a little further. Bob had generously offered free downloads of the CL 215 that was subsequently withdrawn after some years because it was found to be unbuildable. I had tried but could not satisfactorily finish the nose section which is where the problem is. Bob then re-fined his CL 415 as an improvement.

No offence nor disrespect to Bob who has my highest regards over the years for his generosity in offering free downloads to the modelling community. As a matter of fact, his works are very good as a whole and I have built quite a number of them downscaled to 1/200.

Since you are doing the fire fighter planes, I thought maybe something can be done to resurrect the CL215 by another designer. I understand that Orlik has a full kit and I have that one sometime ago but was then too inexperienced to give it a try. Perhaps you can let us have a simpler one for us to enjoy and salute to the daring fire fighters all over the world?
