So... I've resumed the test-build of the Tornado F2. I built the front fuselage a few months ago to see if the new pointy nose fit properly and stopped there.

Today I've build the rear fuselage and mated it to the front section. I made some mistakes that impacted the wing glove and wing insertion on one side. The important thing is to shape the rear fuselage part before glueing anything AND before cutting the slits for the wings. It makes things easier didn't do it and regret it. Don't fold the tabs at the top of the rear fuselage. Also have the wings already done for test-fitting wing insertion at each step. The air intakes are added last.

There are probably other methods.

(since the ADV wing glove part is modified from the IDS, maybe I did some mistake while designing it)

End of the build!

I noticed I forgot to color the thrust reversers so I need to correct quite a few pdfs (as some IDS also have this problem). I also realised I forgot to add weight inside the nose. If I ever design a landing gear for the Tornado, this one won't have it.

Thanks, Carlos, for taking over the build explanation for me. gives me more time for new models.

Did one more today. Rather big. at least bigger than I expected.
Just forgot to grey out the wheel wells.

Cafe,

Great job on the Tornado. So what's next on the list?

Thanks for the Firebrand Bruno. I were tempted to post a guess that you will be doing the Supermarine Swift next - fortunately you beat me by posting first.

Thanks too to Cafe for the Tornado buld sequence.

@SMWulph: you're welcome

I've updated the old Tornados in the download section and added the RAF F.2 and GR.1A as new downloads.
