I could have indeed. But then the "white" should be a bit more "pinkish" (that's what it looks like on pictures)

I've not been able to build anything for a long time now Bruno, but I do still visit this thread on a daily basis,

I have to keep checking in case that 1:300 Falklands Pucara shows it's face.

Not that I could build it yet.

Even the Peacemaker is\still defeating me, but I still enjoy watching all the others building.

Keeping my fingers crossed for yours.

Added LG to my latest models. Changed the nose of the Buccaneer so as to mimic a little better the cold war camo.

And now I should make some room on my desk. Unfortunately you all live so far away

Wow! Paypal is at the ready my prolific designer! According to your latest list of available models the green listings now have landing gear, I refer to the p51 series in particular.

Here are a few recolors of Bruno's DC-5 in 1:300. Those are unrelated to PacificWind's planned recolor (in USMC 3-tone camo). Wireandpaper did the japanese one and a bare metal R3D-1 in raster.

USMC Silver = an R3D-2 (with cargo door), BuNo 1904, c/n 609, of VMJ-152 based in Quantico (though according to the caption of the profile, it's VMJ-2 based in San Diego). it was written off in late january 1941.

USN Silver = an R3D-1 (passenger version), BuNo 1902, c/n 607, of the US Navy assigned to NAS Anacostia in 1940-1941. It was retired in 1956 (and I wish I could find pictures of its later markings).

JP = a former KNILM DC-5, registered as PK-ADA, was captured in Andir (now Bandung) where it was being repaired after an encounter with japanese planes. Repainted in japanese colors, it was sent to Tachikawa. It still existed in 1944 and appeared in Tokyo in an exhibit of captured allied equipment.

USAAF camo = another former KNILM DC-5 as seen in Australia 1942. Three of them managed to escape to Australia where they served with the Allied Directorate of Air Transport. Former PK-ADD used it construction number (426) as a serial for a while.

The USAAF gave all 3 ex KNILM DC-5 actual serials in 1944 (44-83232 for this one) and the military designation C-110. Former PK-ADD (minus its war paint) was used by Australian National Airways between 1944 and 1946. The story of this plane didn't stop there as it found its way to Israel in 1948 where it was used by the IAF for some time.

Well, I do have landing gear for the P51. I'm not sure if I added it to all files yet

Metal version is possible. Plus it has some color as the red cheat line of the New Holland Airways livery was kept. Camo version, nope unless I find a profile of the other side and a top view. Just checked my copy of Ciel de Guerre # 17 (about the war of 1948) and it doesn't have a single pic or profile of the DC-5 but it has some nice profiles of israeli, egyptian and UN Dakotas/C-47s.

Though wikipedia mentions the 2 surviving R3D-1 were retired in 1945 and january 1946. The first one crashed in june 1940. The january 1956 date in Air Magazine # 54 is probably a typo.
