Huge thanks, Tony! Wonderful work!

Sheesh, how to build all these models in one life?... Too many of them and my list still grows...

Here is the Short SC5 Belfast HeavyLift recolor. Regards.Tony.
Thanks so much for the test build, recolor and the nice B-17 repaint.
I fear however that something is wrong with the engines on the Belfast. I'll see if it's in the design and if so do something about it.
Bruno

To me it looks like both inboard engines are on the stbd wing and all four are mounted too far fwd.

My adviser was also a jerk, but in a different way. I did appreciate it when he would round up 3 of his students after renting a Cessna 172, and had us take turns as copilot (he was also a CFI), but never to land. The closest I got was why-are-we-climbing-if-i'm-pushing-down-the-yoke on our way to Oshkosh (not during the fly-in).

Still hoping to get my private pilot's license someday, maybe after I retire.

In grad school, my advisor and I were flying to one of the companies we worked with in another state. Told me to grab the yoke and then sat there with his arms folded across his chest and told me what I needed to do. He took control again to land there, explaining everything.

On the way back, he said 'okay, I had another heart attack, let's see what you learned.' and then gave no instructions. When we were five miles from home he took control again. When we got lined up with the runway, he announced he just had another heart attack, and I had to land.

Never fly in a small plane with a jerk

Did a test build of the original Belfast design, to check the engines. Hope the pictures show how the engines were intended.

Belfast engines

OK It´s was my fault, I assembled it wrong way. However I see in pictures that engines are oval than round. Now that you show us the right assemle, I´ll fixed it. Thanks Bruno!!!. I think of a major fix up. Now that all is clear I keep working in rebuilding the T-33 fin(it points frontward), I plan to build at least 6 of them, all in FAM colors;and going to make the next step in designing and began working in the P-43 Lancer assisted by your tutorials in "How to make an airplane" and "Cones and slanted cones". Regards,Tony.

No offence meant, Tony.
I really appreciate your contributions and help.
These things happen when the designer does not provide building instructions.
On top of that at 1/300 scale I can permit some approximation that show at 1/100 scale, like the shape of the engines and certainly the shape of the prop cones. I got a little bit too lazy when designing them
Have fun designing the P-43. I'll stop designing mine.
Bruno
