I doubt the french Tucanos ever had anything hanging under their wings. Here is a summary of their career (in french) and the reform of the training syllabus that spelt their end.

Pucara is a good 10 years older design.Very different aircraft in most aspects.

I ask because the pucara was a coin aircraft way back, and these aircraft do remind me alittle of that aircraft

And a few more (in progress, not entirely finished yet)
Camo schemes need more time (and are not always easy to find)

The Tucano has been very active in Coin and anti-drugs operation in South America (and in some places of Africa). Even having air-to-air victories.

You may see very dramatic footage of intercepts on Youtube.

The EMB312 is used in African by Angola, CAR, Egypt, Mauritania and Mocambique.

Kenya uses the similar Short Tucano (as per the RAF version).

Countries that have used it in anger are Angola (Angolan Civil War where it was used from 1999 to 2002) and Mauritania (used against Al-Qaeda).

The Mocambique aircraft (there were 3) are in all likelihood no longer on strength, while the CAR aircraft are definitely no longer in an operational state at all. Most of the CAR AIrforce is "stored" at Bangui - the only operational aircraft currently appears to be an AS350 used by the President.

That's an awesome series of Tucanos!

My contributions for today are 3 soviet MiG-23M and 3 polish MiG-21 (1 PFM & 2 PF) in 1:200. They're awaiting mod approval in the download section. Camo schemes take time as you just said so these are in basic grey or metal liveries (plus I did the Floggers during lunch break at work).

I would like to express my gratitude to you in particular, Carlos, for your continuous contributions. You are surely responsible to a large degree to the life if this thread.

I know others might feel "mistreated" if I only thank you, but I really wanted to do this.

Bruno
