The wing can indeed sometimes bend awkwardly, therefore it is best to form the wing as much as possible before gluing.

Does it show? and if it does, should I do the other engines as the first?

I can only see two possible differences.

1) A different type of foil, or
2) The two braces on the outside covered nozzle seem
larger? Or something different there.

If thats not it, then I cannot discern an difference.

The short answer is, "Yes." That's actually the long answer, too. The ribbed portions of the Saturn V (there were actually square stringers attached) are parts of the launch vehicle that undergo the most stress.

The second foil job looks slightly neater, but that could be just learning from the first effort. Otherwise, little difference from here.
I know it's a scale model, but what a shame to cover up all that beautiful plumbing! At least you've taken photos at this stage so we know what's under there.

I cant tell any particular difference, unless it is that the wrap around tube is made slightly differently. Looks equivalent to me.
