Mounting some 1/100 scratchbuit aircrafts

Hello Guys.
I open this post to show some of my mountings that I have in my archives. In other post I show a Sopwith Camel/ but I edited the first post and I cant edit again. So, I created this post where I show more mountings.
I will posting step by step, trying explain the techniques. If someone has any questions, ask and I will try to clarify.
I hope you enjoy.

The first aricraft is the Morane Saulnier MS Type L Parasol. This model is the aircraft of the Rolland Garros, which was mounted the first machine gun shooting by the propeller circle. In this model I was testing new techniques, like using balsa wood to propellers, and engine with much more details.

The wing was made with cardboard; I cut the two surfaces, superior and inferior. In sequence I give the profille shape to the wing and I glued a foam to maintain the wing profile - I used silicon glue to this.

Later I mounted the wing, attaching the two pieces, with white glue. After the draying, I sanded the wing.

Finaly I mounted the wing mount, using metallic wires, all attached with superglue.

Now the fuselage.
In the first image, we have the two pieces above are the superior (left) and inferior (right) side; on the below, we have the fuselage laterals. In the central image we have the superior and inferior pieces with internal reinforcements, which are used to join the laterals. The right image show the fuselage under mounting - notice that the superior is shorter than the inferior.

Now I glued a rounded piece in the front, and I made the entry of the cockpit. in the nose I glued a firewall.

Here, I was detail the nose (notice a hole in the side. In sequence I cut two square pieces. Later I cut the landgear struts and I cut a needle. Finaly I mounted all these pieces in the place; the needle piece was insert in the hole of the side.

I'm following this thread as well, I enjoy watching projects come to a finish, much better than just seeing the finished model photos.

Thank you for sharing your progress!

Lets go again! Here we have the landing gear tires; two simple circles, with circles without the center glued on them (it was clear??? ). Later I glued a conic piece in the center - it was made with a cardboard circle, where I cut a "pizza slice", and laterly I glue the edges, to obtain the conic shape

The horizontal and vertical stabilizer were made with cardboard. The horizontal stabilizers was joinded with a wire.

And all pieces were joinded on the aircraft, with cyanoacrylate (CA). In the last image you see the tailpipe, built with wire.
