Hello Paul... I printed the model at the Office Depot. They use a DocuColor printer.

Ok, I'm back with the model. In fact, I have a meeting with Lt. Empey tomorrow... so let's keep on going.

I had the wings built completely. These I got into their "bones" when ready. The internal structure
for the wings are very sturdy. As always I used cereal boxes (2 layers) for the structures.

Note for Dave: The wing structures have wrong identification lables. The wing spars (large ones),
are labeled to be placed between W3 and W4, and they should say W4 and W5 instead.
Other than that, all is good.

Carefully, I insert the structures in the wings. I like to separate the control surfaces out from the wings.
That procedure results in a very good looking model for a contest, but not this time.

Then the wing fairings. Dave, I found these very easy to place. Is it the model design or just me
after 9 years in this hobby? In this time, I had to learned something on paper modeling, right?
Anyway, I didn't have any problems.

And then landing gear. The tires were made out of layers of cardboard roundels, even the tail wheel.

On the inside of each landing gear leg is a piece of wire and a toothpick to insert it into the wheel wells.

Final photos next.

LOL I don't know!? maybe your skills have improved? lol

Same fairing as with previous models.
Not the same fairing* as with my first few Mustang kits.
(*The one that marek designed)

This design is my updated design...but it hasn't changed in a couple of years.

Dave That must be it, Dave!

Don Boose Thanks Don!

Hathaway Very good, Paul. Ask for cardstock paper, they should have it in stock. Also, you can print from your email/cloud drive, as they allow you to use their PC's to print.
