That'll mess your drawers.
  I remember manning the rails once and getting startled. I was forward on the starboard side looking inboard during a practice run when I caught a flash out of the corner of my eye followed by a loud boom. Turned out to be a Tomcat jockey screaming by at very low altitude with full afterburners. That will shake loose any cobwebs.

I saw this happen, Waddington airshow, arrivals day. The road runs right passed the end of the runway, they use a traffic light system when aircraft come in to land. This was a little to low though.
