Today I've built the wing tip whatever - cases? tanks? Don't know...
Please note: The formers are all too big and have to be cut to an appropriate size! That's it for today - there is not so much left and I hope to finish the build by friday! Cheers, Old Rutz

Interesting and excellent build of an unusual subject. This technique is a clever way to get some of those unusual birds that have never been done in 1:33 or 1:32!

Ron,
a scale-up is usually no problem as long as the models are not protected by whatever method. But here another problem turned up: I cimply converted the pdf with Acrobat to pdf files so it is no pb to increase the size and to rearrange the parts. BUT - the pdf files have a resolution of 200 dpi therefore the lines are after the scale up of a pretty bad quality. As long as you see the model from a distance of 50 or 100cm (2 - 3 ft) it's okay. Nevertheless you can see the the problems on some of the pictures. Perhaps this can be takes as an input for futures releases of soft copies (Jason?) to increase the resolution to at least 300 dpi - this should be a good compromise between resolution and file size! Cheers, Old Rutz
