Thamks for the revue Ruben. I downloaded something some time ago that featured moveable control surfaces. Don't know where it is now but the Canon model looks better that that one did anyway.

This is a very useful review. You have really added a lot to the base of information on Spirit models.

Leif Olsson has a superb thread on modeling Spirit: Spirit of St. Louis - some considerations

I have had the Peter Zorn Spirit on hold for a couple of years and hope eventually to build it (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/a...int-louis.html http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/a...int-louis.html).

At the time, I also acquired the Canon and the WAK and similar (identical?) Gremir versions. Someday, I hope to complete the Peter Zorn version and try at least one of the others. This thread encourages me to do so.

Canon Park "Spirit" model

I have built this kit as well, finding it a bit of a challenge , but, altogether, the results are incredible! I have included a photo of my build-up for members to see! I strongly encourage anyone with an interest in owning a scale replica of this famous aircraft to download your own free copy of it from Canon Park's Papercraft webpage! One of the BEST depictions of the 'Spirit of St. Louis' available!!!

A beautifully-executed model!

It is good to see what can be done with the Canon kit.

Looks like a great build of an iconic plane. Nicely done. Got any more pics?

Wow! Thanx guys. The Canon one looks to be a good choice.

He is at the stage where he needs to be challenged a bit. Now if he can just keep up with his school work so he can come play with Gpa!!
