Paper-replika.com Czech Airlines Airbus A320 11x17 Megabuild
Hey guys! I am taking a break from the AR15 (Which I got a lot done on) and decided to get the Paper-replika.com Czech Airlines Airbus A320 printed off onto #80 LB 11x17 cardstock at Kinko's.
This'll so fun to build! -Matthew |

Matthew,
What scale did you upsize it to? Thanks, Gary

I would suggest cutting the center fuselage section in smaller, more manageable pieces........... But this should look fantastic hanging from the ceiling!
Oh.......... and you may want to try and add some inside support for the wings. Last edited by John Bowden; 08-28-2013 at 07:31 PM. Reason: additional thought |

I currently do not know what scale it got resized to, just that it was printed onto larger cardstock.
Here are more updates from the last few days! Attachment 178961 Attachment 178962 Attachment 178963 This is the aft section of the aircraft, I used a skewer stick for support for the vertical stabilizer. Even with the thick cardstock the pieces are still bendable, with some effort though. Attachment 178964 Attachment 178965 Attachment 178966 Attachment 178967 Attachment 178968 Assembly of one Rolls Royce IAE V25OO engine (I think that is the correct name), everything went together just fine, (thank gosh) Attachment 178969 Attachment 178970 Attachment 178971 The engine is now attached to the pylon and on the wing! ...I think I may have attached the engine to the pylon upside now Attachment 178972 Attachment 178973 Attachment 178974 Attachment 178975 Attachment 178976 Attachment 178977 Rolling the fuselage, I took your advice into consideration John but my brain was not with me at the moment and when I remembered it I had already glued it into position. I also inserted another skewer into the "wing to body fairing", it should help support those wings Attachment 178978 Attachment 178979 Attachment 178980 Attachment 178981 Finishing the front sections of the fuselage! Attachment 178982 Attaching the portside wing and horizontal stabilizer to the fuselage... And just like that the aircraft is finished! This was a fun model to build and maybe I get one of those 757's or maybe even the new air France A318 printed off? -Matthew |

Wow! That was fast! Most of the pics didn't come through, but what did look great!
If you can get them to tell you what percentage they printed the 11x17 pages at we can work out the new scale. Still very impressive. john |

The one photo I can see looks great. That was a pretty fast build.
