Center section
The center section is split in tow. The upper and the lower landing gear bay.
I decided to attach the upper skin to the forward section first. This allowed me for a better fit. Also, I had access to glue card stock to the inside to support the wings later on. Note: The wood stick was originally to be used as a center wing spar. However, I decided not to use it later on. For now it is is used as a handle while building the model. Isaac

Air intake
It is a nice feature to have an engine intake duct that extends far enough into the fuselage.
Here it is and installed Isaac

Complete the fuselage
At this point, I added the rear fuselage section to the upper middle for a better fit. When that is dry, then I could fit the lower center landing gear bay. I did add card stock on the inside to support the bay and strengthen the center.
Other than that, there is not much else here. The cockpit area will be cut out later. Isaac

Great work. I'm following this with great interest. I noticed you put another wooden stick in. Are they still for holding the model or are you thinking of utilizing them for the wings again?

My original intent was to use the wood sticks ( coffee stirs ) as the wing support. However, I later beefed up the wing spars and the sticks were not used any more.I often use these sticks as structural supports in other build, it is a great way to support the wings. I did not glue the sticks in place, so removing them was easy. Isaac

paper canopy
This kit has no interior to the cockpit.
The paper canopy is positioned in place. I will use it for create a plug for a vacuformed canopy later. For now, here it is dry fitted. Isaac

I will make a clear canopy
Yoav
This canopy is only used for building the mold for a clear canopy. You will see my posting later for the cockpit and clear canopy. Shana tova Isaac

Wings
First, build the wing frames.
That structure is strengthened by gluing a card stock on the front and back of the U shaped channel for each wing. The ribs are then placed on the U shaped spar. The wing structure fits inside the wing skin which wraps around. However, I needed more support, so I added card strips on one side and a whole sheet on the other. This stiffened up the wing spar as well as made it smoother for the wing skins to lay against. Note: In order to build the cockpit section, I cut out the upper area where the cockpit position would be. This also served as an access to the wing attachment and later to glue them to the frames for strength. Now check it against the fuselage. Wings are on the structure. Wings are now glued to the fuselage. The outer wing sections will go on later. Isaac

Wing spars internal attachment
Once the glued wings dry with the correct dihedral ( please refer to the 3 view ).
I then bent the wings forward card spars and glued to each other to form a straight internal spar. I then glued and folder the rear spars to the fuselage former. These tow mods made the wings stronger when attached. I then added a flat floor to attach the cockpit later on. The alternative would have been to make a wood center spar which would have been much stronger. However, not really needed. Isaac
