Ennder, perhaps the Metroliner you flew in in Australia was with Brindabella Airlines. It is a Qantas subsidiary that flies to regional areas.

I think you may be right. Now that I realy think about it.. it may not have been a Metroliner because I remember that the engine came off the top of the wing, not off the leading edge. But it was about that size. I was not paying that much mind to it as we were on are way to see the in-laws

And after being married to their "Little Girl" for 2 years AND being in a different country with her for that whole time, the tension was building fast.

Yeah I looked and looked and looked some more. It looks like Qantas never flew any, but some of their vendors did fly them, but never in Qantas colors. Air New Zealand link did though, in their native colors, in a snappy livery...
