That fateful day so many lives were lost.
My family and I were that afternoon at Los Rodeos Airport dismissing a sister who was returning to work at the island of La Palma.
The fog was very thick. The Fokker-27 which was my sister took off about 20 minutes before the tragedy.
We learned of the tragedy when we returned home.
I will never forget the faces of some people I saw getting on the bus that took them to their plane.

Yes John I meant Maid of the Seas. I once worked at S.F. International Airport and always loved the big blue logo as it rolled by or took to the air. But I all so love the TWA planes too. I was working for PSA at the time and got the chance to be all around the aircraft in the mid 1960's. If you love planes(and I did and do)then this was the place to be. Like stepping into the future. Man, I have the aviation bug bad. wc

Ya know if we are doing memorials.............. TWA Flight 800 would be a good one to do also..

Wad Cutter - speaking of PSA I did this on request........ I thought it turned out pretty good.

Wow John, impressive print.

I thought I would do a quick build of Pan Am to join my fleet of 747s. There's a little miss match on one of the seams of the fuselage, but a very good repaint. My printer is not giving me a very good silver gray color, the PDF file has a much nicer match. The instructions for this model is at http://www.paper-replika.com/index.p...&Itemid=206192

Thanks for the quick fix, Gerry1966. Having done several recolors I know how hard it is to get all the strips to line up. Thank you for all your hard work getting these models out to the world. I'm looking forward to building many more of your models.
