Horizontal fin on

Attach the horizontal fin on to the fuselage rear fairing which is shaped to receive it. I just added a piece of card stock inside the fairing to add support.

The control surfaces are on dry for now. They will be glued later.

Keep up the good work.

You might want to think about adusting the bottom edge of the extra vertical fins.

The models one are flat, and could do with a little bit of adjusting to fit the horizontal stabilisers better.

Wished I did on mine

Tim

You mean they do not conform to the shape of the bottom? I will check that.

The wings

First the internal structure. It is a beefy assembly as can be seen

Instead of the kit laminates of the landing gear bay, I simply painted it interior green.

Then add the top of the bays.

Next are the wing skins. I removed the ailerons and the landing gear bay cutouts.

Now the wings are done. Add the tips.

Wings attached

simple attachment.

Dry fit and then apply the glue.

Then add the big upper wing fillets. A bit tricky making them fit.

Whats left here are the upper bulges and the lower landing gear bay fairing.

Ailerons

Added the ailerons to the wings. Unglued for now. I will decide on the position later, but probably in a neutral position
