What a great B-52 you've made! I'm surprised the kitties didn't claw or eat it (because my Australian Cattle Dog Paige would of if she had the choice.)

Can't wait to see more bombers if you decide to build more.

Nice work on the FG BUFF.

Like Peter Taft, the B-52 is my favorite bomber aircraft also. Years ago when I was in the Air Force, I caught a military flight from Elmendorf AFB, Alaska to Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The C-130 I was a passenger on, made a refueling stop at Kincheloe AFB, Mich. The three passengers, including myself, got off to stretch our legs and allow the ground personnel to do their job. I was standing a couple of hundred feet from the Herc, watching the activity on a very busy tarmac.

At one point, a B-52H taxied by and I thought it looked like a snake. I continued to watch and since my job in the Air Force at that time was refueling aircraft, I kept thinking one thing..."I would hate to be assigned here."

When I returned from trip to Wright-Pat, I was informed my next assignment was in. You guessed it, Kincheloe AFB, Mich. The Air Force assignment gods must have heard me say something that Sept. 1, 1971 evening on the flightline of the base.

However, after two years there, I learned to love the B-52 (even though it caused a lot of problems for me) and snow (more than 22 feet that first winter I was there and none of it melted away until spring).

If you're wondering, the F-15 Eagle is my favorite fighter and the C-141 Starlifter my favorite cargo.

I did mine without the outriggers because the guy I built it for
might hang it in his man cave.
He worked on them when he was in the Air Force.
Has lots of stories about them. ( Very Interesting )
